The Columbia River Gorge is a canyon of the Columbia River that stretches for over 80 miles. It is the only water connection between the Columbia River Plateau and the Pacific Ocean. The river flows westward through the Cascade Range and forms the boundary between Washington State and Oregon. We were lucky enough to drive along and visit the gorge during the spring and the weather was perfect. The water was clear and there were spots that you can pull over along the road to admire the beautiful scenery.
